How to lose your job in 3 easy steps! by Jermaine Whitehead.

Step one: Be terrible at playing safety in the NFL, missing tackles and don’t cover anyone or anything. Be a critical reason why your shitty football team gets beat by another shitty football team when the game was in reach.

Step two: Clapback at fans on Twitter who call you out for step one by being a huge racist douchebag and threatening to kill “fuck ass crackers”. Tell their mom’s to suck your dick and call them poor (which I’m sure Jermaine will be in just a few short months/years). It will also help if you provide your address and offer to scrap with random people.

Step three: Get suspended on Twitter and start going in on fans via Instagram DMs.

And that ladies and gentlemen is how you never play professional football again. The lesson here is to maybe not go off on racist, threatening tirades because people are calling out your poor effort on social media.

What a fucking moron!

Marcus Smart is the heart and soul of the Boston Celtics – a bulldog with no back down ready to go toe-to-toe with the reigning MVP of the league and a dude that has 8 inches and 20 pounds on him. Side note: HE ONLY HAS 20 POUNDS ON SMART, what a bitch. It seems like any time Marus gets matched up with a Superstar he gets in their head and agitates the shit out of ’em and causes them to make mistakes. It’s inevitable. They let Marcus live rent-free in their heads. Beautiful.

Last night Marcus and Giannis got locked up and hit the floor during the 4th quarter in a game where the Celtics had come back from down 19 points to take a 10 point lead. The Bucks were starting to cut into the deficit and Smart just mentally locked up the arguably best player in the league. Giannis was CLEARLY frustrated that the Celtics had been able to contain him all night (he finished with an impressive 22pts 15reb on the night, but was held as in-check as they could).

Marcus Smart gives zero fucks about your MVP award, Giannis. He had one of the best games I’ve seen him have in a Celtics game, single-handedly making sure the game didn’t get out of hand in the 2nd quarter with his 8 points and timely three-pointers. He finished up with 19pt 4reb 6ast and one LOUD steal.

The steal – the dunk. All Smart.

The Tap Heard Around The World: KAT tapped!

Shootless Aggression was on full display last night.

In the 3rd quarter of the TWolvers/Sixers game, ring technician Ben Simmons got the best of Karl-Anthony Towns with a devastating crossface. A few seconds after it was locked in, KAT had no chance but to tap.

Lamar Jackson and the 2019 Baltimore Ravens: I hate that I like you.

Just look at those moves……

So let me preface this blog by saying I am a DIE HARD Patriots fan with Ravens hatred going back years. @monti was a Ravens fan in high school and hated the Patriots because the “Ravens are so good in madden”. Now, he rides so proudly on that Patriots train that it makes me want to puke. I’d also like to mention that Lamar Jackson is the QB for the 6-2 soon to be a fantasy football champion squad Belichick Yourself. That all being said, I can’t help but root for this Ravens squad.

Grant Williams – Giannis Stopper

Tonight is a big test against the Milwaukee Giannis’s and I couldn’t be more excited to see what the new-look Celtics do against the biggest threat in the East.

To beat the Bucks, they need to contain Giannis. Let’s be real – the Greek Freak is unstoppable, but if they can limit his damage and make the rest of the squad beat ’em the Celtics can pull out a win. So, how does one stop Giannis? Grant Williams.

Patriots defense is STILL underrated

At the halfway point of the season, the Patriots stats look like this:

Through 8 Games16 Games TotalNFL Record
Points Allowed61121165 ('00 Ravens)
Yards Allowed187237443549 ('91 Eagles)

It’s stupid how good this defense is. Do I need to remind you that we’re in the highest scoring period in NFL history to get the point across? Most people would say that we haven’t played anybody yet, but I disagree because we’ve played 8 NFL teams and #ANYGIVENSUNDAY applies. Did you see how close the Patriots were to letting the Browns get back into the game (to cover)?

However as good as the D is, the notion that the offense is being carried is a little bit fucking crazy. Hey guys we have a 6 time super bowl champion nightshade-free quarterback. It’s tough to rack up stats when you rank 2nd in the league with an average starting field position of 33. Anyways, it’s a team sport. Team game. The team the team the team.

Welcome back FUN Celtics basketball.

Ladies and gentlemen, Celtics basketball is fun again.

After the DISASTER that was last season, with Kyrie the Snake shooting the Celtics out of the playoffs in the second round against the Bucks and then bolting to team up the OG Snake KD in Brooklyn, the Celtics have made the start to this season something to enjoy.

The change in players wasn’t easy. Look, I loved Kyrie; the way he played the game and the way he was able to seemingly get his shot whenever he wanted was something I was craving. It didn’t work. He’s a melodramatic headcase (it’s already starting to show three games into his Nets career, but more on that later) that causes major chemistry issues for a team. I’m not going to get into bashing Kyrie here, I could fill a whole blog with my vitriol; instead, I’m going to praise this new look Celtics team.

Steve “Brigham” Young suggests owners collude to keep league parity

Steve Young says the NFL is heading towards being like the NBA with big-name players demanding trades.— ESPN (@espn) September 17, 2019

No other league has the same level of parity as the NFL. Even though the Patriots consistently play the previous year’s AFC division winners, they consistently end the year with a pretty easy schedule. They have the correct scheduling system, the league really is Any Given Sunday. Now AB and Jalen Ramsey are just begging to be released, which could set in motion a huge NBA-like wave of star players leaving bad teams, or teams in bad markets. AB might have employed a more Leeroy Jenkins strategy of just going all in with the insanity, but I’m sure at the very least we’ll see more Jalen Ramsey type requests. And the whole “get pulled away from your coach/coach gets pulled away from you” thing.

Of course all the suited up “CONTRAKT IS CONTRAKT” folks at The WWL hate the idea of employees changing offices. You know because fan Darren won’t be a fan anymore if that guy leaves, or that team owner might not make enough in jersey sales. I think? Idk. Maybe it’s a law thing but as a sovereign citizen I wouldn’t know. Luckily we know that NFL drama means the NFL being in the news which is always a good thing, so I enjoy it when players freak out and act like babies. Except when it’s our team. I also would like to say I do NOT like Aaron Hernandez.

However, Steve Young’s position on the matter makes total sense. His buddy Brigham Young wasn’t really a fan of people being able to choose where they want to go either.

How far does a Celtics team with Kemba Walker and Clint Capela go?

The big news over the past day is that Kemba to Boston on a 4yr/$141M deal is basically a conclusion. Everyone and their mom is reporting that by Sunday it will be a done deal and Kemba is a Celtic.

I love it. I think Kemba is a better fit for the team than Kyrie, even with slightly less basketball talent. The intangibles are better and he should be a beacon of good chemistry. Plus, he’s HUNGRY to win and he’s familiar with New England from his college days.

But, that’s not the only news…. Reports (really rumors) are coming out that the Celtics have agreed to a trade for Clint Capela.

Trader Danny strikes again…. In silence.
